Blazers rookie and Ontario native Shaedon Sharpe is coming home to lead the Ball Don’t Stop Pro Series presented by Mansha Plan at the Toronto Pan Am Centre on August 1, 2023. The 6’6 wing who grew up in London, Ontario quickly rose up the ranks with his stellar skill-set and graceful athleticism, going from unknown GTA hooper to one of the most promising NBA prospects over a span of two years. After sitting out his college year, Sharpe was selected by the Portland Trail Blazers with the 7th overall pick in the 2022 NBA Draft. He went onto electrify the league in his rookie season with his signature dunks, freakish blocks and smooth scoring arsenal. Playing next to one of the greatest point guards of all-time in Damian Lilllard in Portland, Sharpe put up numerous 20 point games and shot 36% from three. In his first year in the league he averaged 10 points per game, played in 80 games (started in 15) and showcased his incredible potential.
Before he heads into his second season in the NBA, Sharpe is making sure to give back to the youth by teaching them all the things that got him to the pro level. This six hour pro camp will feature intensive offensive/defensive skills and fundamental training for all levels. Coaches will teach game concepts and principles throughout the day and we will go into what it takes to become an elite athlete both physically and mentally. A very important aspect of this camp is the lessons on discipline, self belief, respect for the game and the importance of hard work and dedication from Sharpe. Campers will compete in drills and games amongst each other (1 vs 1, 3 vs 3, 5 vs 5 etc.) and may even get to compete in fun contests with the high-flyer himself. This is going to be a one of a kind camp that young hoopers will remember forever. Check out the full details and confirm your spot by registering above.
